C. Helen Bacon received her B.S. degree from the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs cum laude and her J.D. degree cum laude from Mercer University School of Law in 2006.  She is admitted to practice law in both Georgia and South Carolina and focuses her law practice in the areas of complex business litigation and construction litigation, including mechanic’s and materialmen’s liens.

Ms. Bacon is past treasurer of the Savannah Division of the Georgia Assocation of Women Lawyers, is a former officer of the local chapter of the Georgia Young Lawyers Division and is a former member of the Executive Council of the State Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.  Ms. Bacon is a member of the Savannah Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the Young-Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia and the South Carolina Bar Association. 

Ms. Bacon is also active in community organizations, including the Emerging Leaders Committee of the Savannah Community Foundation, Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy, Historic Savannah Foundation and the William Jay Society.
